No. Please don’t power wash your house. We use soft washing and gentle detergents to lift dirt, algae, mold and other contaminants from your siding. We do NOT use high pressure.
Store-bought kits will undoubtedly leave you disappointed. Kits that attach to your house spray out all the cleaner at the beginning, and then you’re just spraying more water on your house at the end, making the problem worse. We mix our cleanser as we spray so we get complete, even coverage.
Soft wash house washing generally involves a low-pressure stream of water to deliver cleanser to your siding, then a gentle rinse afterwards. However, if your home has elements on it like brick, stone, stucco, or other hard surfaces, we may use different techniques to get those areas clean.
This really depends on where you’re located. If your property has trees, if you live near water, or if you’re in a shady area, you may want to have cleanings more frequently. If you’ve noticed green or black streaks on your siding, give us a call.
